Studio STE Architects presented us with an exciting challenge: renovating a charming 1750 sq. ft. Feet 1945 cape in a historic neighborhood in Greenwich. Collaborating closely with the architect and the homeowners, we embarked on an exciting journey to blend the charming character of the past with the calming sophistication of the new design and contemporary living.  

We navigated a delicate balance between restoration, embracing a modern aesthetic, and incorporating new materials and technology. Half Orange transformed the home by updating the electrical systems, renovating the entire kitchen and upper living spaces, constructing luminous new dormers, elevating ceilings to create new cathedral heights, and refinishing the original floors with meticulous attention to detail. Half Orange also  provided interior design and construction for new built in wine rack and new closet space. 

The outcome? A beautiful renovation that enhances the home's flow and enriches cherished family rituals. This project remarkably celebrates history and the owners and architects' commitment to improving the space for their daily living experience.
